Job Summary
We are looking for:
- We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to lead and execute strategic and hands-on security initiatives.
- This role blends high-level architecture design with operational responsibilities such as threat monitoring, incident response, and compliance.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically skilled, and capable of communicating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
What will you do:
- Design and implement secure architecture and cybersecurity frameworks across systems and applications.
- Monitor systems using SIEM tools to detect, investigate, and respond to threats in real time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Manage identity and access controls, enforcing least privilege and role-based access principles.
- Implement and manage security controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP—experience in any is acceptable).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across the organization.
- Configure and manage security tools including firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and patch management systems.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and lead response efforts during security events.
- Perform forensic investigations and analyze logs to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare clear and concise security reports, dashboards, and documentation for leadership and audits.
- Deliver security awareness training and promote a culture of security across teams.
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity within tech-driven environments.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption, risk management, and security infrastructures.
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark, Palo Alto, and cloud security platforms.
- Proficiency in technical writing, documentation, and reporting.
- Ability to explain security concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with a proactive mindset.
