We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows. The candidate has a strong background in cloud environments, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code, ensuring high system availability and performance across multiple production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines for development and production environments.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Monitor system performance, logs, and uptime using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployments meet security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline the software release process.
• Optimize cost, reliability, and performance of cloud resources.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and automation scripts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and cloud security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production workloads.

Preferred:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki).
• Exposure to zero-downtime deployments and blue-green or canary releases.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices.
