Job Position: DevSecOps Engineer
Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for integrating security practices into ZEEQ Tech’s development and operations processes.
• The role ensures secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery by embedding security controls across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud environments while maintaining deployment speed and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools into development and deployment workflows (DevSecOps practices).
• Monitor system vulnerabilities and conduct regular security assessments.
• Implement cloud security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
• Automate security checks, compliance validations, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to embed security early in SDLC.
• Manage access controls, secrets management, and identity policies.
• Perform infrastructure hardening and security configuration management.
• Respond to security incidents and support remediation efforts.
• Maintain documentation for security architecture, procedures, and policies.

Selection Criteria

• B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security roles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with security tools (Snyk, Trivy, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, etc.).
• Knowledge of application security, infrastructure security, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
