Role Descriptions

• Required skills are Hitachi, EMC, and Huawei storages
• Storage monitoring
• Direct attach storage monitoring
• Network attached storage monitoring
• Storage area networks monitoring
• Direct attached storage management
• Network attached storage management
• Storage area management
• Storage replication management
• Storage Provisioning
• Storage performance and capacity management
• Setup and provision storage in MTN Nigeria which include EMC, Hitachi and NetApp storage controller but may change as MTN’s needs evolve
• Day to day provisioning and support of the storage and SAN Brocade infrastructure
• Brocade SAN setup and administration
• Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Solaris Operation system
• Knowledge of VERITAS Volume manager
• Solaris Operating systems certification as added advantage
