What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

  • Technical - Develop technical resources to meet process and product technical support requirements.  Specific expertise in plant systems is required to represent plant needs in project development and design work.
  • Project Management - Plan and execute projects involved with repair and capital installation. Use resources effectively to achieve expected results with spending and time constraints.
  • Product, Process and Packaging Expertise- Knowledge of plant systems and equipment applied to maintenance activity and problem-solving efforts. Complete understanding of maintenance management function and the ability to apply technology and management systems effectively in maintaining plant assets and directing resources and employees.
  • Develop, deploy and implement plans to ensure the best utilisation of assets in the sites as well as supervise and give guidance on the maintenance of such assets.
  • Lead the Innovation implementation on the site, looking for best alternatives / options of design to manufacturing, following USCC / category technology selections. • Prepare and manage capital budgets.
  • Support innovation delivery as part of regional network.
  • Cost Management- Manage maintenance spending, constantly seeking the least cost approach to assuring on-going process capability in meeting Division and Customer requirements. Develop budgets for department, work to reduce costs. Manage the technical teams and associated budgets responsible to deliver Projects, Innovation, Infrastructure and Services to the site.
  • Comply with Company Policies for SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) and Quality.
  • Create and implement plans to continuously improve site infrastructure needs such as energy, water, treatment, steam and all infrastructure services, contracts and contractors.
  • Manage the projects, overhauling and innovation budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with Plant Managers and others to improve site and line efficiencies and reduce waste.
  • Developing Others- Develop training programs for plant technical and operating employees. Coach technical resources effectively in developing an understanding of the role of maintenance in supporting plant operations effectively.

Requirements
Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other discipline.
  • At least 6-10 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the manufacturing sector
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications can be advantageous. Project management certifications like PMP are also beneficial
  • Strong technical knowledge in manufacturing systems, lean manufacturing, and industrial automation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills to effectively manage team and collaborate with other departments.

Skills:

  • Develop effective asset care programs, develop asset improvement programs using internal and external resources, assure compliance with equipment and system design and specification standards. Manage suppliers effectively assure that MRO spending is efficient.
  • Define or use defined performance requirements and KPI to set targets and plan actions for continuous improvement in plant reliability and operating results.
  • Technical design principle.
  • Construction safety.
