JEV Consulting - Our client one of the major players in the construction and property management – Real Estate, with head office at Ikoyi, Lagos is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Female Accountant
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted standards and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor reconciliation and invoice processing.
• Oversee payroll processing, tax remittances, and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends, and advise management on cost optimization and revenue enhancement strategies.
• Support audits (internal and external) and ensure full compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Assist in budget preparation, performance analysis, and variance reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial documentation and record-keeping for all transactions.

Requirements

• HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or Tally).
• In-depth understanding of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and other statutory regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Remuneration
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
