We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Officer

Job Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Process invoices, verify financial data, and ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Data Management:

  • Maintain financial databases and systems.
  • Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and processes.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial alignment and support business operations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
  • Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
  • Candidates must be residents of Ajah, preferably male.
  • Applicant must reside in Ajah.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
