Job Overview


  • Our client is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team.
  • This role is ideal for a high-potential engineer with strong technical depth across frontend and backend systems, and a clear interest in progressing into an Engineering Leadership position.
  • You will play a key role in building scalable, high-impact educational products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to architectural decisions while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
  • Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.js and Vue.js.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Django and Laravel.
  • Design, optimize, and manage databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through best engineering practices.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external tools as required.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.

DevOps & Infrastructure (Preferred):

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on containerization, monitoring, and system reliability initiatives.
  • Participate in improving development workflows and deployment automation.

AI & Productivity Tools:

  • Leverage AI development frameworks and tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity, code quality, and development speed.
  • Explore AI-assisted features or integrations relevant to EdTech solutions.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
  • Mentor and support junior developers.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and contribute to engineering best practices as part of the Engineering Lead pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Soft Dev Experience: 7+ years
  • Frontend: React.js, Vue (3+yrs)
  • ?Backend: Django + Laravel. (4+yrs)
  • ?Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB,
  • ?DevOps Exp (Preferred)AI Development Frameworks (Co-pilot, Claude).

Salary
N600,000 - N750,000 Monthly.
