Job Position: Furniture Production Supervisor

Job Location: Ketu Ikosi, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Furniture Production Supervisor to join our team.
• The Furniture Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of furniture operations within our facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing of furniture operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Assign tasks to production workers and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
• Train new employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule production activities and optimize resource utilization.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports on key performance indicators such as production output, quality metrics, and inventory levels.
• Resolve any production-related issues or conflicts that may arise in a timely and effective manner.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.

Qualifications

• HND / Diploma in a technical, engineering, or relevant field
• 10 years of proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in the furniture industry.
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and the use of CNC is an added advantage.
• Advance skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills.

Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 / month.
