Job Description

• The General Manager (GM) will provide strategic and operational leadership across all functions of OneVERIFY acting as a key driver of business performance, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination.
• The GM will work closely with executive leadership to ensure operational excellence, alignment with organizational goals, and growth across technical, commercial, and administrative areas.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Oversee the execution of company strategy, aligning operations, finance, HR, and technology initiatives.
• Translate business goals into actionable operational plans with measurable outcomes.
• Support the executive team in long-term planning and decision-making.

Operations & Project Oversight:

• Ensure the smooth operation of all departments including tech, product, operations, HR, and finance.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure accountability and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for workflow, process automation, and operational scalability.

Team & People Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads and teams to achieve objectives.
• Foster a high-performance culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Identify talent gaps and support recruitment and succession planning initiatives.

Financial & Commercial Management:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor resource allocation and operational expenses to optimizeefficiency.
• Collaborate with business development teams to ensure alignment of commercial goals and operational capacity.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all operations comply with regulatory, legal, and data protection requirements.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain standards for data security, privacy, and system integrity.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Provide comprehensive reports on operational performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in general management or senior leadership roles in tech, fintech, or SaaS companies.
• Strong understanding of digital identity, verification, RegTech, and technology- driven operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple departments, projects, and teams effectively.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in operational, project management, and reporting tools.

Preferred Skills / Nice to Have:

• Experience in digital identity, verification platforms, or AI-driven products.
• Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory and compliance frameworks for data and technology.
• Familiarity with hybrid and remote team management.
• Exposure to blockchain, cybersecurity, or RegTech solutions.
