Job Position: Operations Team Lead

Job Location: Atan, Ogun

Job Overview

• The Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing and recycling operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality standards.
• This role is responsible for optimizing processes, managing teams, controlling costs, and ensuring that operational goals align with the company’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production and recycling operations
• Ensure efficient use of resources, materials, and manpower
• Monitor production output, quality, and operational performance
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Supervise plant staff, including shift planning, performance management, and training
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment
• Identify operational risks and implement improvement initiatives
• Prepare and present operational reports to management
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and business development teams

Required Competencies & Skills:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and recycling operations
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of operational planning, cost control, and process optimization
• Good understanding of safety and environmental standards
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or recycling operations
• Experience working in a recycling or industrial manufacturing environment is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in operations management are an advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
