About the job

• The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
• This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

Primary Responsibilities

• Other tasks as assigned by the E-Commerce General Manager or Chief Merchant
• Design marketing materials including: email, affiliate, paid social, media, & homepage/ site
• Produce wireframes, designs and typography according to digital best-practices and team priorities
• Partner with brand teams on product launches and in-store activations to deliver consistent look and feel across the ecosystem
• Craft and deliver products and services inclusive of: website art, email campaigns affiliate communications and social media assets.
• Drive & optimize creative strategy of the social commerce programs, based on testing & learning, user behavior, & feature developments.
• Develop evolving creative assets based on test & learn principles, user behavior & new feature developments as driven by the broader team
• Act as liaison to cross-functional teams to clarify and finalize project specifications
• As a problem solver and an accomplished designer, the candidate will build pixel-perfect designs that accurately represent the branding guidelines for both brands
• Present work to internal team and incorporate feedback in timely manner
• Partner closely with ecommerce and brand teams to communicate & deliver on creative needs, including feedback & approvals, in a timely & steadfast fashion
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure assets hold brand consistency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating strong sense of composition, typography, and layout skills.
• Mac proficient.
• Strong knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science OR equivalent work experience
• Ability to meet strict deadlines is essential
• Strong attention to detail and must be organized
• Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Experience with SFCC and SFMC a benefit
• Experience with HTML, CSS and other web technologies required
• Proficiency in video-editing software such as Adobe After Effects
• Sophisticated knowledge of software programs including in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator
• Must have strong work ethic and be able to take direction, be open-minded to change and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Relocation to Eau Claire, WI is required.

Experience:

• Graphic Design: 2 years (Required)
• Typography: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver: 2 years (Preferred).
