Job Position: Graphics Designer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm (on-site)

Job Summary

• As a part of our development and expansion plans, we are seeking the need to hire qualified Graphics Designer with good branding, visual and imagery composition to join our team.
• As a Graphics Designer for SDI, you will be responsible for creating brand visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials, brochures, product packaging, etc. for advertising and signage.
• You will visualize and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, photos and videos.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• As a Web Designer you will be responsible for maintaining SDI brand website, web pages and blogs and ensure a catchy UI/UX design and visual representation of the site as well as check out layout and usability. Your key duties and responsibilities include:
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic and ensure good brand reputation
• Test graphics across various media to ensure compatibility and amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Study design briefs and determine layout of designs while collaborating with the entire marketing team
• Conceptualize visuals based on brand goals and objectives of SDI brands to design graphic illustrations and logos
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to marketing team
• Test site functionality and usability, receiving feedback about draft sites
• Digital retouching and image editing
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
• And such other duties as may be assigned to you by the CEO from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees in any field with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in similar position with traceable results
• Skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe photoshop, Figma,UI UX, InDesign, CorelDRAW, Web design and product design will be an added advantage.
• Strong eye for visual concepts and imagery
• Effective time management skills and meet deadlines
• Ability to take constructive feedback
• Strong aesthetic sense, combined with good branding standard and layout designs
• Good knowledge of marketing, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
