We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: HSE Supervision Service
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise HSE activities on-site, ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to enhance safety awareness and promote a culture of safety.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address HSE issues effectively.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes, and update training materials accordingly.
  • Lead investigations into safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents are reported, investigated, and documented.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring they know safety procedures and practices.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure all personnel are trained in emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspection logs.
  • Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Participate in HSE meetings and committees to share knowledge and promote best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE supervision.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary
N500,000 - N660,000 Monthly.
