Job Position: Human Resources (HR) / Legal Officer

Job Location: Igbo-Efon - Lekki, Lagos

Job Description
Providing Legal Advice:


  • Using clear and concise communication, you will brief staff members and the management team on legal matters, potential liabilities, and recommended courses of action.
  • Your expertise will enable you to translate complex legal concepts into easily understandable language for all stakeholders.

Document Processing:

  • Efficiently drafting, reviewing, and managing a range of legal documents, including settlement agreements, contracts, employment offers, sales contracts, preparing and franking of deed of assignments with your official seal will be part of your regular tasks.

Identifying Risks:

  • Regularly analyzing the organization's actions and decisions will enable you to identify potential problem areas, propose alternative courses of action, and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard our interests effectively.

Administrative Duties:

  • In addition to your legal responsibilities, you will also undertake various administrative tasks. These may include preparing offer letters for new employees, conducting training sessions to familiarize staff with our company's code of conduct, ensuring strict adherence to organizational rules and regulations, and adapting workplace policies to reflect the ever-changing dynamics of the modern world.

Recruitment Oversight:

  • Overseeing the recruitment process for staff across all our branches.
  • You will play a vital role in ensuring the recruitment activities align with legal requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • This includes developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and making recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • By maintaining a comprehensive and fair recruitment process, you will help build a talented and diverse workforce to support the growth and success of our organization.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
