Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Tuesday - Friday)

Job Summary

• Our Client in the beauty industry is seeking to hire an experienced and proactive Human Resources Officer to manage and oversee all HR operations in our beauty business.

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Develop job descriptions and manage the recruitment process for all staff.
• Screen, interview, and onboard new hires.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding process and training for all employees.

Employee Management:

• Maintain employee records and ensure they are up to date.
• Address employee queries and mediate conflicts when needed.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assist in career development planning.

Payroll and Benefits:

• Manage payroll, attendance, and leave tracking.Coordinate employee benefits, as well as create and coordinate incentives, and recognition programs.
• Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and ensure adherence.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and workplace safety regulations.
• Workplace Culture and Retention:Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Organize team-building activities and wellness programs.
• Work on employee retention strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 - 3 years of HR experience, preferably but not compulsory, in the beauty or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft software.

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
