Responsibilities & Accountabilities


Monitoring and availability of materials required to maintain production activities, and readiness at site is key to ensuring no downtime in production. The services required is to provide safe, reliable and on-time delivery of Inbound and Outbound Services, including coordination and administrative support, to enable reduced delay instances to orders, monitoring of orders to ensure items are supplied to meet Asset requirements. Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Maintaining overview of purchase per worksite / platform and materials availability, including contractor and warehouse follow-up.
  • Sourcing out materials externally (via Purchase Requisition) or sourced internally i.e., from another store/ Supply Base (via Stock Transport Requisition).
  • Plan the short-term inbound deliveries into the Supply bases to ensure that material availability is always above 95% for all stocked line items at all times.
  • Optimize inbound delivery plans to ensure level load of the profile throughout the week and be prepared to manage and execute.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the inbound process to optimize resource utilization and drive this optimization into the business – all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the CP Operations team (C&F and Expediters) to establish where there are hold ups and issues with critical inbound deliveries.
  • Drive the weekly Supply Chain Control Towers material availability cadence.
  • Work with CP Operations team (MRP and Inventory Analyst) to ensure that the right materials are held in the right warehouses according to the Supermarket Model principles (critical spares held locally, corrective spares held in the Supply Base warehouse and preventative spares ordered on direct charge)
  • Plan and schedule through liaising with Investment recovery and the supply base teams to ensure the operation is not disrupted and that evacuation of disposed material is effectively managed.
  • Plan the short-term outbound deliveries from supply bases and warehouses to ensure that material availability is above 95% for stocked line items and that direct charge materials are efficiently delivered to site to meet required on site (ROS) date.
  • Work closely with the Integrated Logistics Scheduling team, Land Logistics and Asset Logistics Coordinators to ensure right material is delivered safely to the right asset at the right time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the outbound process, through optimal scheduling, timing and transport utilization, such as the extension of the Milk Run philosophy.
  • Be the first point of contact for the exception process of emergency material withdrawals from the supply base warehouses and manage this process end-to-end ensuring the material is delivered as fast as possible.
  • Full understanding of the TAM/Shutdown, drilling campaign and IAP plan to ensure uncompromised execution.

Minimum Qualification

  • Educational degree in any discipline and related competences for scope of work is required.

 

Experience

  • Knowledge of materials and services within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry
  • Experience in articulating or using the principles and concepts of stock level management and inventory management, data standardization, cataloguing and data clean-up.
  • Knowledge of or experience in execution of key inventory management activities, including planning and replenishment, forecasting and demand management, lead time analysis and reduction etc.
  • Experience in managing customers and key stakeholders, i.e. warehouse lead, maintenance team, CP operations & procurement teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong SAP skills in Material Master and Business Warehouse modules
  • Excellent knowledge and application skills with employing data and use of databases
  • Experience in monitoring, tracking, and reporting on materials requirement through the end-to-end Material Management process.
  • Experience in analyzing reports to identify potential issues and liaising with buyers, expediters, users etc. to resolve.
  • Experience in creating preventative or corrective work packages.
  • Experience in monitoring inventory KPIs and inventory performance against targets.
  • Experience in managing turnaround teams to deliver turnaround events effectively.
