Since our inception on 13th of October 2004, Nepal have navigated the business of trading, supply and production support in the down and mid-sub-sectors of the petroleum industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Internal Auditor
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans covering operational, financial, and compliance areas.
- Conduct audits of depots, retail outlets, trading, logistics, and finance operations to ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Review and test internal control systems to assess their adequacy, effectiveness, and reliability.
- Identify control and process weaknesses and recommend practical risk mitigation solutions.
- Assess and report on key risk exposures, including product losses, inventory management, supply chain operations, and revenue assurance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies (e.g., NMDPRA/DPR, tax, and environmental requirements).
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings, implications, and actionable recommendations.
- Present audit results to management and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial records, reconciliations, and asset management processes.
- Evaluate internal controls over petroleum product movement, storage, and sales transactions.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor remediation of audit issues and strengthen control ownership.

- Proficiency in MS Office and audit management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Salary
N250,0000 - N350,000 per month.
