Job Description

  • We seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Assistant to join our team in Ikeja.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s inventory, ensuring accuracy, and supporting efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.

Stock Control:

  • Track stock movements (receipts, issues, and returns).
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of inventory transactions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity.
  • Ensure damaged or defective items are reported and replaced promptly.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide support during audits and stock-taking exercises.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of an HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an ICT distribution or retail environment.

Skills:

  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
