Job Description
- We seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Assistant to join our team in Ikeja.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s inventory, ensuring accuracy, and supporting efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
Stock Control:
- Track stock movements (receipts, issues, and returns).
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Reporting:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity.
- Ensure damaged or defective items are reported and replaced promptly.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support during audits and stock-taking exercises.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Minimum of an HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an ICT distribution or retail environment.
Skills:
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
