Job Description
- Our client is seeking an Inventory Manager to manage the inventory and oversee the daily operations of the store.
- The Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that products are stored and distributed safely and efficiently, managing stock levels, and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming products and materials, ensuring that they meet quality and quantity standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels.
- Handle and resolve any inventory-related issues such as stock discrepancies or damaged products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Customer Fulfilment Officer to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and sales orders as needed.
- Manage and maintain the store's inventory management system to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
- Ensure stock is maintained at minimum stock levels by monitoring Periodic Automatic Replacement levels for all materials.
- Ensure the quality of materials received is at par with the company’s standards.
- Ensure that materials are issued against authorized requisition only.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Familiarity with safety and health regulations related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- You should be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in inventory management.
