Job Description

  • Our client is seeking an Inventory Manager to manage the inventory and oversee the daily operations of the store.
  • The Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that products are stored and distributed safely and efficiently, managing stock levels, and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions.

Responsibilities


  • Receive, inspect, and document all incoming products and materials, ensuring that they meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels.
  • Handle and resolve any inventory-related issues such as stock discrepancies or damaged products.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with Customer Fulfilment Officer to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and sales orders as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the store's inventory management system to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
  • Ensure stock is maintained at minimum stock levels by monitoring Periodic Automatic Replacement levels for all materials.
  • Ensure the quality of materials received is at par with the company’s standards.
  • Ensure that materials are issued against authorized requisition only.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with safety and health regulations related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • You should be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in inventory management.
