Job Position: Inventory Officer
Job Location: Port Hacourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and controlling stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
• The role involves monitoring stock movement, conducting stock counts, and coordinating with procurement and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, and returns).
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when necessary.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Track slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
