Job Summary


  • The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inventory team, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • This role involves supervising inventory control processes, conducting regular stock audits, coordinating with other departments, and implementing procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and availability. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory items.
  • Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve inventory-related issues, including discrepancies, shortages, and excess stock.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and ensure timely data entry and updates.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement & facility managers to ensure adequate stock levels and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports, highlighting key metrics, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory storage area, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Requirement

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent only.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to conduct stock counts and manage inventory in warehouse settings.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
