Job Position: Inventory Manager
Job Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly organized and strategic Inventory Manager to oversee stock management, optimize supply chain operations, and ensure seamless inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Control:
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management strategies to minimize losses and maximize stock turnover.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and sales trends to optimize replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure consistency between physical stock and system records.
Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination:
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and supplier performance to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure all stock meets quality standards and brand expectations before reaching customers.
Process Optimization & Reporting:
- Use data analytics and forecasting tools to track inventory movement and predict demand.
- Implement best practices for storage, stock rotation, and shrinkage control.
- Generate periodic inventory reports for senior management, identifying risks and opportunities for cost reduction.
Team Leadership & Compliance:
- Supervise inventory staff to ensure efficient stock handling and record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Train team members on inventory control procedures, software systems, and loss prevention.
Education & Additional Preferences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in luxury retail, automotive, or high-end goods is a plus.
Experience & Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in using inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, and stock forecasting.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to track trends, forecast demand, and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analytics tools, and ERP systems.
