Job Position: SME Lending Officer


Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Prospect for new SME clients and assist with their loan applications.
  • Recommendation of Loans: Recommendation of loans to the Credit Unit for approval.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements of the business in order to access the repayment capacity and financial capacity of the borrower.
  • Monitoring and Follow up with Repayment: ensure 100% repayment of disbursed loans.
  • Conducts loan appraisals and collects detailed information (personal, business, and guarantors). All clients and guarantors applying for loans for their businesses and Offices must be visited before disbursement is carried out.
  • Market intelligence – develop market intelligence, detailed research, competition analysis and database with the view to capture the assigned market space.
  • Develop sales initiative/Conduct Product Campaign: acquire an impeccable knowledge of all product/services, develop a strategy in communicating product essentials to get buy-in through all available platforms (one–on–one, social media, target group engagement and other sales channels)
  • Develop new markets –develop new wider and deeper markets by reaching organizations, associations and communities with customized banking services offering the unique selling proposition of the bank.
  • Manage correspondence: maintain swift correspondence with inter/intra dependent roles, customers, reporting line and every stakeholder in the sales pipeline to ensure excellent and satisfactory service delivery to customers.
  • Maintain contact and good relationships with clients.
  • Growth and development: study market/industry trends/initiatives per time to boost personal and target delivery per timeline.
  • Execute all other jobs as assigned by team lead and management.

Relevant Skills, Qualification, Attributes & Experience

  • B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences or any other relevant course of study.
  • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in SME Lending in any Financial Institution (preferably a finance house)
  • Ability to evaluate needs of customers and determine what products or services would best serve those needs
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Excellent communication, reporting skills.

Job Position: Credit Risk Officer
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

  • Evaluate customers' loan applications in line with the organization'scredit policy.
  • Identify critical risks in credit request and provide advisory on how requests can be restructured in line with the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Has relevant experience in analyzing consumer and SME loans.
  • Organization of credit committee.
  • Portfolio management & reporting.
  • Create innovative credit evaluation processes and systems.
  • Evaluate clients for credit worthiness based our internal risk models & their application information.
  • Detect fraudulent applications, and unreliable applicants.
  • Check Facility Letters and Loan Agreements and scrutinize the signed documents to ensure the correctness of the contracts.
  • Continuously ensure alignment/compliance to the credit risk management framework.
  • Continuously analyze and recommend improvement on credit risk management framework, processes and systems.
  • Preparation of statutory reports.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • A First Degree in Economics, Finance or any other discipline, Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and relevant lending ratios.
  • Experience in Credit Risk Management
  • Data Analytics and Effective communication
  • Good Knowledge of Credit Analysis and Appraisal

Job Position: Corporate Communications Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the organization's communication plans and strategies in order to improve brand awareness for both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and edit communication materials such as press releases, internal and external blogs, website copy, and similar marketing materials to promote the organization’s product and services.
  • Identify opportunities and develop advert campaigns and press releases to increase brand and product awareness. Monitor and analyze performance of advertising campaigns.
  • Conceptualize, manage and oversee the design, content and production of marketing materials and publications and ensure it is consistent with the organization’s brand identity.
  • Build strategic relationships with key media players, partners/vendors, and agencies to secure and grow media online and offline coverage.
  • Plan and deliver effective corporate events such as Networking programs, Capacity Building Programmes, to promote Addosser’s corporate image.
  • Update company’s websites and social media platforms to improve marketing awareness and generate more leads.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget and ensure optimization.
  • Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with brand identity.
  • Implement and evaluate the organization’s social impact initiatives and SWEC initiatives.
  • Grow and manage the SWEC community

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in any related field.
  • 2 - 4 years experience as a Brands and Communications Specialist (Preferably in a Financial Service space)
  • Proficiency in the use of social media pages of corporate organizations.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to implement projects (Corporate events) end-to-end.
  • Excellent vendor relationship abilities.
