We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) ICT Officer - Digital Health for KPI in HIV Care & Prevention
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
- The successful candidate will work closely with the healthcare providers, key populations and Research Coordinator to ensure that the digital health app is functioning and that all participants have access at all times.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing the digital health app, providing trouble-shooting support, uploading new resources and information and tracking participant activity.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day coordination and management of digital health app at the site level.
- Track participant activity and engagement in the digital health app.
- Troubleshoot and maintain a log of issues with the mobile health app.
- Assist participants in enrolling in the digital health app and maintain updated account information for each participant in REDCap.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on digital app activity and functioning.
- Upload new resources and information to the digital health app.
- Maintain database for participant smartphone data top-ups and check for inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing data on a weekly basis.
- Meet monthly with the digital health app central team.
- Train healthcare staff and key population participants on the use of the digital health app, with support from the Study and Data Coordinator.
- Ensure that project activities are executed in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in the review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) established for digital health app management and functioning.
- Lead data collection activities, such as participant enrollment and questionnaires as needed.
Qualifications
- Preferably HND / Bsc. degree minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Experience with SRHR/HIV programming/intervention with Key populations.
- Strong understanding of digital health technologies and their application in healthcare settings.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, REDCap, cybersecurity, and programming languages, such as JavaScript or C++
2.) Finance and Grant Lead

Job Description
- The Finance and Grant Lead is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, management and implementation of all financial, grant management, and financial policies of CPHI to ensure that they are relevant and compliant with the CPHI financial system, policies, procedures, donor requirements, and national legislation.
- The incumbent will monitor and proactively detect risks and opportunities, bring these to management’s attention, and ensure that financial service support for the program is adequate and timely and resources are allocated effectively to support the organization’s programs.
- The incumbent will build the capacity of the functional finance team and ensure the team has the appropriate skills to perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Finance:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization’s mission and goals and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with technical team leads to provide financial insights and support for program planning and resource allocation.
- General ledger management and maintenance of accounts processes, including proof of accounts
- Ensure that appropriate systems and financial controls are set, implemented, and monitored
- Cash flow forecast and liquidity management
- Supervise and coordinate end-of-month processes and ensure timely closure of the books every month
- Ensure timely assessment of existing structures, policies, and practices in the Finance Department with the support of the Internal Auditor.
- Oversee tax management functions for the organization and ensure proper financial reporting in line with regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Oversee the tax audit and reconciliation processes with state and federal tax authorities and secure the organization’s tax clearance every year.
- Co-ordinates and ensures the timely preparation/rendition of statutory returns/reports to FIRS, State IRS, CAC, SCMUL, etc.
- Coordinate the cost-sharing and allocation process on available budgets and supervise the cost allocation and amortization to ensure proper cost and revenue matching for the relevant cost and budget period.
- Manage the relationship with CPHI’s external auditors, manage the year-end process, external audit, preparation of annual financial statements, and sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
Grant Management:
- Provide administrative and financial management of grants to ensure compliance with donor grant processes and regulations
- Develop annual fiscal year budgets and forecasts with the Project Director and develop and implement grant and proposal budgeting and forecasting systems.
- Working with the Finance and Administrative staff to ensure full understanding and compliance with the provisions of the donor’s financial policies and contractual terms
- Monitor the technical implementation of grants to ensure timely progress and according to submitted technical reports, proposed strategy, and work plans
- Guide grant management as the need arises
- Lead the budgeting process and achieve financial targets and burn rate while optimizing resource allocation.
- Create and update forecasts, prepare and review budget vs. actual variances, identify overspending or underspending red flags, and complete budget modifications as needed.
- Develop time allocation plans for assigned grants and contracts and participate in year-end close- out of grants and contracts in preparation for the annual audit.
- Ensure project documents and financial records are maintained and readily available for internal/external audits and reviews.
- Develop a resource mobilization strategy for the organization with clear and measurable goals and projections in collaboration with executive management and the finance manager.
- Develop clear SOPs for grant management at the organization to drive effective collaboration and productivity.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and tools related to grants and partnerships.
Governance:
- Ensure CPHI complies with statutory and legal requirements, including statutory reporting, completion of the annual report, and the maintenance of relevant registers and organizational books.
- Provide advice to the Board and Executive Director on any legal responsibilities prevailing upon the organization.
- Engage in Financial Modelling and analysis and present periodic reports to the Executive Director and the Board
- Organize and prepare/coordinate the agenda and content for the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) and contribute as a committee member.
Human Resorces:
- Lead, direct, mentor, and coach a team of finance and grants compliance staff to meet CPHI objectives.
- Ensure capacity-building training and personal development for the finance team and non-finance staff on effective financial management and Finance processes.
- Take the lead in setting annual finance and compliance targets and ensure that specific tasks are built into staff performance plans.
- Define jobs and responsibilities for every staff under his/her supervision and methods of evaluating the achievement of the deliverables in an unambiguous manner for every staff
- Conduct periodic reviews of staff performance in keeping with CPHI’s performance management system and mentor staff to ensure high levels of motivation, commitment, capacity, and teamwork.
- Evaluate grant management processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends related to financial, grants management, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in grants design and administration, management, and oversight in a senior management role in a non-profit organization
- Experience previously working on US Government projects in the role of a Grant Manager or similar role is an added advantage
- Knowledge of the relevant public donors’ regulations.
- ACCA or ICAN professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years work experience
- Substantial budgeting, budget/expense analysis, and accounting experience

- Knowledge of local law in taxation and local regulatory reporting procedures.
- Must have knowledge and application of QuickBooks accounting software

3.) Finance Manager

Job Description
- The Finance Manager is responsible for managing and implementing CPHI’s financial processes and policies to ensure that they are relevant, functioning efficiently and effectively and compliant with CPHI financial system, policies and procedures, donor requirements, and national legislation.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all Financial Accounting matters, including maintenance of the general ledger, balance sheet, receipts, payments, and payroll requirements for the organization.
- Support the Finance & Grant Lead in the maintenance of financial systems and software (QuickBooks) that record and report on financial activities and provide information and projections for strategic and operational decision-making. This includes management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and reports on activity for CPHI’s operational costs.
- Support the development of the annual budget (and subsequent quarterly forecasts) in conjunction with the Finance & Grant Lead and the Executive Director and ensure the ongoing adherence and management of these budgets/forecasts.
- Manage the cash flow requirements of the various projects, liaising with the Finance & Grant Lead to facilitate cash transfers and top-up requests.
- Generate monthly finance information (including but not limited to Budget versus Actual spending reports and forecasts, reconciliation reports including Balance Sheet, and Petty Cash, together with appropriate financial/contract variance
- Support the Finance & Grant Lead to oversee the accounting team in their execution of all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, petty cash disbursement and monthly closings.
- Work with the team to review and manage (and establish as needed) internal systems, controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the integrity, accuracy, compliance, and usefulness of financial information and reporting.
- Ensure routine accounting and operations data backup with data retention policies.
- Support the Finance & Grant Lead to conduct a continuous assessment of the existing structures, policies, processes, documents, quality controls, and practices in the Finance Department.
- Ensure the organization delivers and accounts for all financial reporting activities following National, Regional, and Local taxation requirements.
- Facilitate and provide support to all donor and internal audits in coordination with the Finance and Grant Lead.
- Support the Finance & Grant Lead to carry out donor reports and statutory payroll tax compliance for both state and federal tax agencies such as WHT, VAT, and PAYE and compliance with all statutory financial compliance: prepare statutory accounts, partner compliance, donor compliance and financial reporting.
- Working with the Finance officers to execute payment, invoicing, bookkeeping, and banking activities, maintain up-to-date computerized records, and maximize the use of the financial software system.
- Ensure the annual tax return is completed on time and payments are made according to the agreed-upon schedule.
- Support the Finance & Grant lead to manage the relationship with CPHI’s external auditors, manage the year-end process, external audit, preparation of annual financial statements, and sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience, with at least three years in a mid-level position.
- Experience working in a Non-profit Organization
- Masters’ certification will be an added advantage.
- ACCA or ICAN professional qualification is required.
- Excellent IT skills with high proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Auditing experience will be an added advantage
- Good capacity-building, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software.
