Though incorporated in 2008, Dayola Property started business with Investment and Trade, while building relationships and experience that has been taken into property development.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Plumber

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 


  • Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
  • Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
  • Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation
  • Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building
  • Uses saws and pipe cutters as necessary
  • Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters
  • Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipe fitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
  • Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
  • Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair
  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building
  • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes
  • Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken
  • Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts

2.) Facility Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Implement the organisation policies in aspects of housing and property management.
  • Assist with the delivery of repairs and estate management policies and carry out estate management inspections on all of the properties in conjunction with the Facility Manager.
  • Comply with the organisation’s Health and Safety Policy, reporting any matters of concern to the Facility Manager and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation as this relates to the Association’s properties.
  • Participate in out of hours emergency maintenance service.
  • Provide technical advice to other team members/other staff or to tenants
  • Provide the Facility Manager with reports on contractors’ performance, cost and service and monitor quality and value for money
  • Responsible for undertaking the inspection of properties during and after the defects liability period in conjunction with the Development Section.
  • Carry out pre and post inspections of reactive repairs jobs within agreed timescales.
  • Carry out other duties, within the scope of the job, and meet the needs and requirements of the business.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and artisans.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of designated housing unit.
  • Identify problematic facilities and determine what installation or repair services needed.
  • Identify hazards and assess risk on designated housing unit.
  • Communicate safety and health requirements needed.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3- 5 years of experience.

3.) Civil Engineer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with site construction projects.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
  • Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
  • Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor requisition supplies and materials to complete project.
  • Organizing contractors including carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters to carry out building tasks.
  • Ensuring proper finishing of all construction projects
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 8 - 10 years of experience.
