We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Head of Sales

Job Location: Lagos (Hybrid) 

Job Summary


  • The Head of Sales is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to maximize sales growth and profitability across all products and channels.
  • This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving sales teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • The Head of Sales will oversee all sales for payments and expense management products, manage relationships with key clients, and collaborate with other departments to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end revenue ownership: Setting and executing revenue strategies across Sales, Marketing, Growth, and Account Management to generate growth
  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales, marketing, and partnerships team, setting clear objectives and driving performance to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, evaluate market trends, and anticipate competitive threats.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders at target companies, offering strategic insights and tailored solutions.
  • Understand client needs, develop business cases, and articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and objectives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Act as a business representative in front of major customers, stakeholders, and other business partners.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong market presence.
  • Oversee sales operations processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analytics, to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead efforts to acquire scalable banking partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and SLAs
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team to tailor solutions that align with the customer needs and the company’s objectives.
  • Monitoring performance and growth metrics, identifying insights and recommendations for new commercial opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 8 - 10 years of experience in sales within the Fintech space
  • 5+ Years of experience in payments (payment gateway and crossborder payments) is mandatory
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding established goals for the business and for partners
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • SaaS sales experience is an added advantage
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
  • Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and be innovative.

2.) Information Security Manager

Job Location: Lagos (Hybrid) 

Description

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance:

  • Define and lead the strategic direction of our Information Security program in alignment with the Board-approved policies.
  • Oversee the design and execution of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies to protect critical business information systems and assets.
  • Develop and maintain an information security governance framework, ensuring appropriate accountability, risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Operational & Budgetary Management:

  • Direct and manage the security operations, including security architecture, vulnerability management, identity & access management, incident response, and threat intelligence.
    Administer the information security budget, optimizing investments in tools, resources, and staff to support ongoing protection efforts.

Regulatory & Risk Management:

  • Monitor and interpret national and global regulatory developments, cyber threats, and trends to proactively enhance our security posture.
  • Serve as the liaison with the CBN, law enforcement, and other regulatory agencies on security-related matters, including audits and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with CBN guidelines, NDPR, GDPR (where applicable), ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks or standards.

Program Development & Implementation:

  • Develop and continuously improve a comprehensive information security program, encompassing: Risk assessments and management, Data protection and encryption policies, Security awareness training ,Incident detection and response plans and Vendor risk management
  • Lead information security planning across all business areas, including administrative, legal, financial, and technology functions.

Stakeholder Communication & Awareness:

  • Report regularly to senior management and the Board on the status of the information security posture, risk exposure, mitigation actions, and resource needs.
  • Drive a culture of cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization via continuous education and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other business units to integrate security considerations into project planning and digital innovation initiatives.

Technical & Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience, with:
    • At least 5 years in an IT security or audit role
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, especially CBN Guidelines related to information and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in leading incident response and crisis communication efforts.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, payment platforms, and financial technology infrastructures.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing security teams.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex security topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Professional Certifications in at least one of the following:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
  • Other relevant IT security/audit certification.

3.) Legal Manager

Job Location: Lagos

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Duplo complies with all applicable laws, financial regulations, and licensing requirements in Nigeria and other target markets.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including customer agreements, partnership contracts, vendor agreements, and NDAs.
  • Maintain corporate records, oversee company secretarial duties, and ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks related to business operations, commercial transactions, and regulatory developments.
  • Manage any potential legal disputes, liaise with external counsel, and represent Duplo in legal proceedings when necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and legal authorities to ensure smooth business operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure the company’s IP assets are protected, oversee data privacy policies, and ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
  • Provide legal insights and support on Duplo’s expansion into new markets, including entity formation, licensing, and compliance frameworks.

Technical Requirements/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB, BL) from a recognized institution and a valid license to practice law in Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Fintech industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations in the local and global payments space 
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent grasp of legal research, advisory and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
