1.) Human Resources Manager

Job Summary


  • The HR Manager will oversee and manage the HR operations within the oil and gas firm, ensuring the effective implementation of human resource policies and programs that align with the organization's goals.
  • With a strong focus on talent acquisition, learning & development, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and organizational development, the HR Manager will lead a team in delivering exceptional HR services to meet the strategic needs of the business.

CoreResponsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment process for all roles, from entry-level to senior positions, ensuring timely sourcing, screening, and hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to forecast workforce requirements and develop staffing strategies to meet current and future business needs.
  • Foster a positive working environment by promoting employee engagement programs and addressing workplace concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution.
  • Promote continuous learning and career growth opportunities for employees at all levels.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness in the market and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee salary reviews, bonuses, and other benefit-related initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support in setting employee goals, conducting performance reviews, and implementing development plans.
  • Assess training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills, ensuring alignment with both organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that are in compliance with the organization's values and the oil and gas industry standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Lead change management efforts to adapt to industry trends, workforce dynamics, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Promote employee wellness programs and work closely with health and safety teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Act as a point of contact for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) concerns within the workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of (12) years of cognate experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Professional certifications in related areas e.g. (CIPM, PHRI, CIPD,)
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly within the oil
    and gas sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and implement effective contingency plans for managing crises and unexpected events.
  • Experience with technology integration in HR and administrative functions.
  • Knowledge of cultural dynamics and ability to manage a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in strategies for enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction

2.) Human Resource Adviser

Job Location: Lagos

3.) Team Lead, Business Support and Recovery

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To achieve reduction in non-performing loans and maintain same within acceptable industry limit. To recover lost account in a timely manner with a minimal cost to the Bank.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To ensure that recovery is done within the work-out frame work and recovery policy and procedure of the Bank.
  • To establish the communication and strategy with relationship manager and borrower on appropriate recovery process to minimize the loss of the Bank.
  • To establish and facilitate the processes for workout and recovery on lost accounts in line with the Bank’s credit risk policy
  • implement agreed workout strategies, monitor and report the achievements on an ongoing basis
  • To develop and apply best and standard practices for collateral realization and other assets.
  • To actively engage debtor- customers who are in court with the Bank for out of court settlement within Bank acceptable standard.
  • To analyse and evaluate troubled accounts and propose restructure of such accounts where applicable or necessary.
  • To develop the guidelines for recruiting or registering recovery agents, recovery agencies or any other third parties and also monitor their activities.
  • To review reports and performance of recovery agents on an on-going basis.
  • Follow the Bank’s lending and credit risk policy and philosophy while delivering the execution of recovery
  • Carry out such other duties that may be delegated to it by the CRO and senior management.
  • To organise quarterly credit reviews with relationship in attendance to criticise troubled accounts and take strategic remedial or recovery decisions to resolve same.
  • To gather information in a very detailed manner from relationship and debtors in order to articulate effective recovery strategy.
  • To recommend to management all such accounts that qualify for waiver or concessions.
  • To hold monthly meetings with Legal Department (being a BSRD critical stakeholder to discuss, examine and resolve litigation and other matters with recovery accounts.

Requirements

  • B Sc. in Accountancy / Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration or Bachelor of Law or any other relevant qualification. Master degree in a related course will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 12 years Banking experience out of which 3years must be as a senior management staff in Recovery department/unit of a reputable bank.
  • Professional qualification such as Institute of Debt Recovery Practitioners of Nigeria (AIDRPN), ACIB, ACA, ACCA, BL. RIMAN or any other professional courses.
