We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment
  • Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
  • Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role in an Hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.

2.) Sous Chef

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Objectives of this Position

  • Contributes to guest satisfaction:
  • by preparing "hot" and/or "cold" dishes in line with the concept procedures and the supervisor's instructions
  • by helping deliver the dishes
  • by respecting the food health and safety standards and procedures
  • Contributes to the appropriate management of raw materials.

Duties and Responsibilties
Professional Techniques / Production:

  • Creates and presents the dishes in line with technical guidelines and the supervisor's instructions
  • Adapts work to fluctuations in volume of guests, to special events and particular guests
  • Helps receive deliveries and tidies food items according to the storage guidelines
  • Guarantees the high standard of the dishes prepared.

Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment:

  • Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations
  • Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment (s) he uses
  • Applies the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc.).

Skills / Qualifications Required

  • OND, HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/ Hotel Management, Culinary Arts or any related field or a Professional Kitchen Apprenticeship
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in any hospitality organization
  • Certification or training in Basic Cookery or a Chef’s Training Course
  • Good culinary skills
  • Ability to communicate well in English
  • Team spirit
  • Menu knowledge and preparation techniques
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to follow directions.

3.) Sales / Marketing Executive

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Assist the sales manager at all times
  • Brief customers and guests about the hotel’s facilities and its overall business
  • Direct and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel
  • Actively participates in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings
  • Manages performance issues that arise within the Sales and Reservations teams
  • Effectively communicates with other departments
  • Conducts a daily briefing with department on current key activities
  • Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
  • Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence
  • Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional
  • Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance or in any related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales management experience
  • Relevant trainings or Certifications in related field of Sales and Marketing
  • A strong understanding of overall hotel business, its facilities and policies
  • Ability to develop new sales techniques
  • Must have strong decision making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and manipulative abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Computer skills (word, excel and PowerPoint), etc.

4.) Restaurant Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • The Restaurant Manager ensures that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining its good reputation and ethos. You'll coordinate a variety of activities and be responsible for the restaurant's business performance, quality standards and health and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and actively participate in Food and Beverage meetings respecting the confidentiality of issues that may be discussed formally or informally.
  • Design attractive food menus and follow up on execution 
  • Manage the service of food and beverage within the restaurant / bar and, where required, conferencing and outside catering.
  • Ensure cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant, work areas, tableware, utensils and other materials and equipment used by restaurant / bar.
  • Prepare weekly forecasts for restaurant / bar, mini bar and roster staff accordingly.
  • Ensure constant liaison with the Conference Sales Manager and Conference Coordinators.
  • Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.
  • Coordinate between restaurant / bar and other relevant departments to ensure that preparations for conferences involving restaurant / bar.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly restaurant / bar reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target.
  • Management and guidance of outlet staff under control
  • Adherence to Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that enquiries from the media are only responded to by the nominated spokesperson.
  • Establish on-going On Job Training Programs within the department to meet Brand and Service Standards.  

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
  • Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in similar role with a reputable hotel brand
  • Prior experience working with Micros and/or a related system
  • Degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
  • Mathematical skills needed
  • The ability to take the initiative and lead others
