1.) Credit Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Credit Officer will be tasked with the responsibility of evaluating loan applications to determine the eligibility of an applicant for a loan option, assessing creditworthiness, scrutinizing credit risk and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• You will play a crucial role in the lending process by providing accurate credit assessments and recommendations to support our clients' financial needs.
• Ultimately, the ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively liaise with clients and should possess the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan applications and financial documents to determine credit risk.
• Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
• Evaluate applicants' financial status, credit history, and ability to repay loans.
• Make informed recommendations regarding loan approvals or denials.
• Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Communicate with applicants to gather additional information and clarify any discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for loan decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth loan processing experience.
• Maintain records of loan applications and monitor payments.

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc. in any related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience as a credit officer in a financial sector is mandatory.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong leadership skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Renumeration

• Salary: N150,000
• Transport and airtime allowance.

2.) UI/UX & Graphics Designer

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

• In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces for our website and mobile app, while also creating visually compelling graphics for campaigns, social media ads, and digital media.
• The ideal candidate must be a creative thinker with a strong technical ability to translate designs into functional code, enhancing user engagement and driving conversions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Sketch.
• Development Knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: UXPin, InVision, Adobe XD.
• Collaboration Tools: Slack, JIRA, Asana.
• SEO Optimization: Understanding of SEO principles for design.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile teams.
• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design decisions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in tech or fintech.
• Cross-Platform Design: Experience designing for iOS & Android.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and graphic design work.

3.) Mobile App Developer (iOS & Android)

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

• We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android development. 
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, and related technologies, with a passion for building high-quality, scalable mobile applications. 
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain mobile apps that deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain iOS and Android applications using Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter.
• Implement best practices in UI/UX, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.
• Optimize app performance, offline storage, and threading for a smooth experience.
• Work with Git, managing branching, merging, and pull requests effectively.
• Conduct unit, integration, and automated testing for reliability and performance.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, cloud services (AWS, Firebase), and backend systems.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented in mobile applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers using Figma and Adobe XD to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Bitrise for deployment.
• Work within Agile development methodologies to ensure efficient product cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• iOS Development: Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Core Data, Core Animation, Apple’s design principles.
• Android Development: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Gradle, Google’s Material Design guidelines.
• Cross-Platform: Flutter (React Native experience is a plus).
• Database Management: SQLite, Room (Realm is a plus).
• Testing Frameworks: XCTest (iOS), Espresso/JUnit (Android).
• Version Control: Git (experience with Git branching strategies).
• Project Management Tools: JIRA, Trello.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years as a Mobile App Developer with a strong portfolio of published apps.
• Security: Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Industry Expertise: Experience in fintech or cross-border payment solutions is highly desirable.
