1.) Collections Officer

Job Locations: Lagos

Job Description


  • The purpose of this role is to manage new customer performance; early-stage calling, bad debt monitoring and management of campaigns improving cash collected, identification of better customer KYC and onboarding processes, and managing risk around early fraud detection, cancellations, and suspension processes.

What's exciting about this role?

  • Actively dialing through the new customer's performance leads aged less than 30 days to understand their reason for late payments or no payments.
  • Offer solutions for customer concerns and issues raised to achieve resolution.
  • Educate the customer on the device return policy, advising on money eligible for refund and if no money refundable advice on why that is so.
  • Initiate the downgrade/cancellation process on M-KOPA net to ensure that the cancellation and refund process is seen through to completion.
  • Dial through customers whose accounts are about to be blocked, educating them on the need to take action and ensure that whatever issue is resolve, for customer to resume loan repayment.
  • Negotiate with the customer on ways to get back on track with their payments.
  • Update and maintain a tracker of customer conversations by updating ticket logs on Freshdesk and other relevant database applications.
  • Contact customers who have expressed interest to return their full kits and upgraded MKOPA products to understand their reason for return and record the status of returned items.
  • Reporting and analysis - send a summary analysis of calls done daily and observations made from time to time with recommendations.

2.) Sales Executive

Job Location: Somolu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Handling responsibilities from managing client relationships to nurturing leads and presenting our products to potential customers, you will uphold the brand values of M-KOPA as a front-line employee, achieving sales targets to drive revenue growth for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • You will monitor and deliver set sales targets within the designated territory.
  • You will achieve and surpass sales targets of M-KOPA products by developing local networks.
  • You will uphold the brand values of M-KOPA, including ensuring the M-KOPA retail point standard and guidelines are adhered to.
  • You will recruit, train, coach, mentor & supervise a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet the set targets in line with M-KOPA business goals.
  • You will keenly monitor and evaluate the performance of DSRs to meet the performance standards.
  • You will manage DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations in line with M-KOPA audit resolution guidelines.
  • You will design Sales and Marketing Strategy for the team to ensure Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly sales targets are reached.
  • You will monitor and analyze the performance of Marketing campaigns.
  • Report writing

Requirements

  • You are a B.Sc Holder or a Higher National Diploma Holder in any related field

  • We’re seeking a candidate with a blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and leadership/advisory in a B2C Kenyan marketed business. Credit experience would be a bonus but is not essential.
  • Showcase your skills in using data from SQL, R, Python, PowerBI, and Excel and through financial analysis produce insightful presentations. Knowledge of lending practices and consumer credit in emerging markets is a plus.
  • To lead and influence General Manager and c-suite leaders in the business, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are crucial.
