1.) Hatchery Supervisor

About the Role
- Our client is expanding its poultry operations and seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to support the Hatchery Manager in delivering excellent hatchery performance and high-quality day-old chicks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hatchery operations: egg setting, candling, transfer, hatching, and chick dispatch.
- Operate and monitor automated incubators/hatchers, reporting issues.
- Enforce hygiene and biosecurity standards.
- Train and supervise hatchery staff.
- Keep accurate hatchery records and monitor chick quality.
- Assist with planning, reporting, and smooth chick deliveries.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a commercial hatchery.
- Knowledge of automated incubation systems (e.g., Petersime, Jamesway, ChickMaster).
- Strong grasp of hatchery hygiene and chick handling.
- Supervisory experience is an advantage.
Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 / month.

2.) Feed Mill Manager
Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
- The Feed Mill Manager will oversee daily feed mill operations, manage staff and equipment, and ensure efficient production of consistent, high-quality feed.
- A key requirement of this role is the ability to formulate nutritionally balanced feed for multiple livestock categories based on scientific principles, market demand, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all feed mill operations including raw material intake, grinding, mixing, pelleting, and bagging.
- Formulate feed for poultry, goats, pigs, fish, and other livestock based on nutritional requirements and market demand.
- Ensure feed quality meets industry standards and internal specifications.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products; coordinate procurement with the supply chain team.
- Supervise feed mill staff, provide training, and enforce safety and operational protocols.
- Maintain and service feed mill machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare and present production and quality control reports to management.
- Collaborate with veterinary and nutrition experts to improve feed performance and livestock productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Feed Technology, or a related field.
- 7 - 10 years of proven experience in feed mill operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong expertise in feed formulation for multiple livestock species (poultry, goat, pig, fish).
- Proficiency with feed formulation software and modern feed production technology.
- Solid knowledge of raw materials, quality assurance, and feed safety standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

3.) Hatchery Manager

- Manage daily hatchery operations from egg setting to chick dispatch.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain automated incubators and hatchers.
- Ensure optimal incubation parameters for maximum hatchability.
- Maintain high biosecurity, hygiene, and compliance standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise hatchery staff.
- Ensure production of healthy, uniform day-old chicks for internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with breeder farms and feed mill to align production schedules.
- Prepare and present operational reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
- 7 – 10 years of experience in commercial poultry hatchery management.
- Proven track record with automated incubation systems (e.g., Petersime, Jamesway, ChickMaster).
- Strong knowledge of hatchery hygiene, chick quality, and biosecurity management.
- Leadership experience in managing large hatchery teams.
