Job Position: Accountant (Tax, Cost & Inventory)

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • To deepen our operation in the oil and gas production and engineering services and acquire future businesses, we are seeking an experienced Accountant for tax, cost and inventory to join our team at the Head Office in Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Costing of Products in the ERP.
  • Responsible for receiving products into the system.
  • Responsible for preparing all Statutory schedules and Reports on PAYE, WHT, VAT, PENSION, ITF etc.
  • Responsible for filing all Statutory payments.
  • Responsible for coordinating monthly and yearly stock count.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly inventory analysis report.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Tax matters are adequately and promptly dealt with.
  • Responsible for Tax Planning and implementation.
  • Responsible for tax audit and providing answers to queries with supporting documents.
  • Responsible for filling of annual returns in conjunction with the Company Secretary.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

What We Expect

  • B.Sc or equivalent in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience especially in tax management.
  • The Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Sage and ERP Application Packages.
  • Proficiency in English - High level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Exemplary planning and resources management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload with minimum supervision
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Job Position: Financial Accountant

Job Summary

  • To deepen our operation in the oil and gas production and engineering services and acquire future businesses, we are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at the Head Office in Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Checking daily posting of all financial transactions on ERP.
  • Posting of Accruals, amortization and depreciation into ERP.
  • Responsible for Fixed Asset Register, Tagging and Coding of all assets
  • Responsible for monthly verification of Fixed Assets/Equipment
  • Responsible for checking the trial balance to ensure they are credible, complete and accurate
  • Responsible for preparing weekly forecast
  • Responsible for preparing weekly working capital report
  • Responsible for Financial projections and simulations (Financial Modelling)
  • Responsible for checking all subsidiary ledgers and reconciling them to control account.
  • Responsible for Coordinating Financial Audit with External Auditors
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports for review by the Head of Department
  • Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

What We Expect

  • Minimum of 6 years cognate experience as a Financial Accountant.
  • The Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel applications, Sage and ERP Applications.

Job Position: Payable Accountant

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • To deepen our operation in the oil and gas production and engineering services and acquire future businesses, we are seeking an experienced Payable Accountant to join our team at the Head Office in Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Posting of all invoices from suppliers in the system
  • Responsible for application of all payments made to suppliers in their ledgers.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly Payables report and Age Analysis of Payables for both Local and Foreign suppliers
  • Interfacing with suppliers regarding payment, invoices, discount etc.
  • Sending weekly or monthly statements of account to vendors for reconciliation
  • Posting Accruals relating to creditors transactions in the system
  • Communicating through e-mails with suppliers regarding payment of their invoices
  • Responsible for reconciling individual creditor balances to Creditors control account
  • Weekly planning/ forecast of payables
  • Responsible for preparing bank reconciliation statement
  • Other Projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

What We Expect
