Job Title: Chief Finance Officer CFO

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide an environment, consistent with corporate and local statutory requirements, within which profitable revenue growth is encouraged, costs are contained, billing is timely and accurate, trade receivables are promptly collected, in order to maximize cash flow and profit, whilst financial performance is accurately measured against business plans and budgets and Financial Reports are made to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.
  • Management Accounting, Reporting and Budgetary Control Budget Preparation and tracking to ensure trading activity Is correctly budgeted, forecasted and tracked and to prepare business justification for capital expenditure in order to plan and manage budgets.
Qualification/Experience
  • A degree in numerate or semi- numerate disciplines such as Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Insurance, Law and Business Administration and other related discipline)
  • A post graduate degree in management or other relevant field is essential
  • Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with at least 8 years in the Financial Services Sector and 4 years of top/senior management position

Job Title: Head, Operations

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Head of Operations is a member of the executive team and supports the Managing Director.
  • He / She will be responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all the company’s field operations and sales and business development activities across Nigeria.
  • He/She reports to the Managing Director, ensures a strong operations control environment is maintained in which remittances, operations records, information technology, transfers procedures and management supervision meet corporate standards.
  • His/her duties include ensuring strict compliance with operational policies and monitoring of customer related activities

  • The Managing Director (MD) reports to the Board of Directors.
  • He/she has the overall responsibility to achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the company, supervise all activities undertaken by the company and provide direction to the business.

Education/Experience

Job Title: Head, Human Resource & Admin Services

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and supervise the Human Resources and Administration department of the company, develop operational plans for managing the organization’s human capital and HR delivery
  • Develop, implement and manage the organization’s HR systems including career management, performance management, competency development etc
  • Formulate and implement HR policies, procedures and controls and identify the organization’s HR needs and manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Define and maintain a competitive and merit based compensation system to support the organization’s vision and strategy
  • Manage employee training and development. Manage employee relations and relationship with employee groups
  • Own and manage the organization’s HR administration processes. Formulate and implement procurement and facilities management policies, procedures and controls.
  • Manage the procurement process and ensure that the organization’s physical assets are adequately maintained and secured. Interact with and manage third party service providers
Educational Qualification/Experience
  • Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in a social science or a business related discipline such as, Human Resource Management, Sociology, Psychology and Business Administration
  • Membership of relevant Human Resources and facilities management associations (CIPMN, ICMC IFMA, NIM)or any other relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in a Human Resource Management and administrative capacity at a supervisory, 5 years of which is in a financial or business environment and 4 years at managerial level will be an advantage.

Job Title: Company Secretary/Head of Legal

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the Company Secretariat/Legal issues of the Company and reports to the Managing Director. Serves as the secretary to the Board of Directors and will maintain the corporate records of all legal transactions of the Company. He/She is expected to

  • Manage the entire Company Secretariat and Legal department
  • Provide all corporate statutory and secretarial services to the company
  • Convene meetings of standing or ad-hoc Board Committees and EXCO
  • Keep custody of the company’s minutes of meetings, seals and the register of sealed documents
  • Document all Board Resolutions
  • Transcribe the minutes of all meetings convened by the company Secretary/Legal Adviser
  • Serve as the Legal Adviser of the company on all legal issues, Contract agreements management and compliance
  • Obtain updated copies of regulations and other relevant documentation relating to the company and file appropriately
  • To receive notice on behalf of the company which are delivered to its registered office
  • To conduct correspondence with members with regard to share capital matters
  • Submission of returns, as required by the Act, to the Registrar of Companies

Key Duties& Responsibilities

  • Responsible for promoting control consciousness across the Company and ensuring compliance with regulations, standards and practices governing all activities of the Company, specifically to ensure;
  • Compliance with company insurance, legal, tax and treasury procedures
  • Strict adherence to approval limits and monitoring of payments, including remittances to the Pension Custodian and all processes in terms of operations and investments
  • Production and distribution of accurate invoices and statements to corporate standards in a manner consistent with customers’ service expectations in order to achieve billing performance levels.
  • Monitoring of compliance with payment term disciplines and ensure exceptional payment terms are appropriately authorized
  • Credit risks are minimized, (Credit check on all customers with actual or anticipated balances).
  • Productivity standards are met and both productivity and performance tracked.
  • Production of Capital expenditure proposals meets Company requirements.

  • Makes and executes individual investment decisions in line with the organization’s guidelines and strategy and reports to the Managing Director, reviews and interprets investment and market research reports
  • Develops investment proposals/recommendations in line with investment guidelines and regulatory provisions, evaluates the changing psychology of the investing public and determines its implication on market prices.
  • Monitors the company’s investment portfolio and makes appropriate recommendations to the Managing Director.
  • Recommends portfolio restructuring/rebalancing actions based on changing market dynamics.
  • Develops investment proposals/recommendations in line with investment guidelines and regulatory provisions and monitors the company’s investment portfolio and makes appropriate recommendations to the Managing Director
