1.) Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Overview


  • We are currently seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects that drive our success
  • The Mechanical Engineer will play a supervisory role to oversee the maintenance operations of elevators, generators, and air conditioning (AC) systems.
  • He will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians e.g electricians, specializing in lift systems, generators, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
  • Assign tasks and projects, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.

Maintenance Management:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for lifts, generators, and AC systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Schedule and oversee routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex mechanical issues related to lifts, generators, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and recommended improvements.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety training for maintenance personnel and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including facilities management and engineering, to coordinate maintenance efforts and address any mechanical issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services as necessary.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality or safety.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Panel automation.

2.) Electrical Technician

Job Locations: Benue, Kogi, Kwara, and Plateau

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects and tasks.
  • Assist with the setup and execution of electrical upgrades and installations.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical devices and systems.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members

Qualifications

  • Higher National Diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical technician or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and basic electronics.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid electrical technician license or certification(If Available).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.

3.) Maintenance Supervisor

Job Locations: Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Plateau

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Report to management about maintenance issues and propose solutions for improvements.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting needs and controlling costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or High National Diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
