1.) Head of Agent & Merchant Business (POS)
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Head of Agent & Merchant Business (POS) is responsible for driving the bank’s POS acquiring, merchant payments, and agency banking operations.
- This role oversees the full lifecycle of POS and agent networks from strategy and deployment to revenue growth, operational performance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring nationwide coverage, high transaction volumes, strong liquidity, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national POS and merchant acquisition strategies across SMEs, retail, fuel stations, transport hubs, and informal markets.
- Define commercial models (MDR, terminal fees, settlement pricing, incentives) and manage the P&L for the POS and agent business.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage agents across tiers; ensure liquidity and float availability.
- Oversee POS terminal deployment, activation, maintenance, and vendor relationships; monitor uptime, transaction volumes, and service reliability
- Onboard, train, and activate merchants; optimize transaction throughput, revenue per terminal, and reduce dormancy.
- Manage settlements, chargebacks, disputes, and fraud prevention; ensure compliance with CBN, KYC/AML, and consumer protection standards.
- Drive revenue across POS fees, transfers, cash-in/out, bill payments, USSD, and QR; track and optimize performance metrics.
- Collaborate on POS software upgrades, QR payments, dashboards, and reconciliation systems; implement real-time monitoring tools.
- Lead nationwide field, merchant, and agent teams, ensuring operational excellence through SOPs, dashboards, and performance tracking.

- Active POS terminals and transaction volume/value
- Revenue per terminal/merchant
- Terminal uptime and failure rates
- Fraud/chargeback ratios
- Agent/merchant activation and retention
- Float liquidity sufficiency
- Operational cost efficiency
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in POS acquiring, agency banking, settlement operations, and merchant payments.
- Experience with NIBSS, PTSPs, payment gateways, and switching platforms.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership of distributed teams and field operations.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, KYC/AML, and financial inclusion policies.

2.) Corporate Banking Marketing Executive
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are seeking a Corporate Banking Marketing Executive who is a senior executive responsible for driving the bank’s business with medium, and large-sized corporates, multinationals, and institutional clients.
- The role oversees corporate lending, deposits, trade finance, treasury sales, relationships, and strategic sector growth.
- This leader ensures the bank captures high-value clients, deepens wallets, manages risk, and grows the bank’s corporate portfolio profitably.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and execute the bank’s corporate banking strategy across key sectors (FMCG, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Telecoms, Construction, Government, Logistics, Energy, Import/Export).
- Develop tailored value propositions, product bundles, and solutions for corporate clients to drive acquisition and market penetration.
- Lead corporate relationship managers, sector heads, and business development teams, fostering a high-performance culture with clear KPIs.
- Oversee end-to-end corporate account management: onboarding, KYC, documentation, credit structuring, loan packaging, financial analysis, and renewals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, increased wallet share, and long-term retention.
- Manage credit risk, asset quality, NPLs, and adherence to CBN regulations, internal credit policies, and risk frameworks.
- Grow revenue from corporate loans (term, working capital, overdraft), deposits (current, call, fixed), and payments/collections (cash management, payroll, POS, gateways).
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across SME, Treasury, Digital Banking, and Payments units.
- Monitor portfolio profitability, yield, sector performance, and identify high-growth markets for expansion.
- Train staff on credit structuring, relationship management, and product knowledge, ensuring strong team capability and compliance with AML/CFT and KYC standards.

- Loan portfolio growth
- Deposit mobilization (CASA & term deposits)
- Trade finance turnover and fees
- Revenue per corporate client
- Credit quality (NPL ratio)
- Client acquisition & retention

Key Skills & Competencies
- At least 3 years of experience working within the Financial Industry.
- Strong understanding of lending, credit structuring, risk management, and trade finance.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate business environments and financial markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical capability for financial modeling and credit analysis.
- Leadership experience managing revenue-driven teams.

3.) Head of Internal Control and Audit
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We're looking for an experienced professional to lead our internal control and audit team in a microfinance institution.
- The ideal candidate will oversee daily transaction reviews, conduct customer verification checks, and investigate discrepancies to ensure our assets are safeguarded and regulatory standards are met.

- Oversee daily bank transaction reviews and auditing
- Conduct customer verification checks and staff checks
- Investigate discrepancies, cash suppression, or potential fraud cases
- Implement and maintain internal control checks
- Ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit reports on control activities and audit findings
- Supervise and mentor the internal control and audit team
- Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control and audit, preferably in a microfinance institution or related field
- ACCA/ICAN or other related certification is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in audit software and MS Office applications
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.

4.) Credit Administrative Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Credit Administrative Officer at Neptune Micro Finance Bank is responsible for supporting the credit control department by managing credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with lending policies.
- This role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams to facilitate the credit approval process, monitor loan disbursements, and assist in risk assessment and mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Review and process credit applications submitted by potential clients.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation and information provided.
- Prepare and process loan disbursement documentation.
- Assist in conducting credit risk assessments by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Prepare credit reports and summaries for review by senior credit officers and management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit transactions and client interactions.
- Ensure all credit files are properly organized and stored in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on credit activities and performance metrics.
- Ensure all credit activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- BSc / HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit administration, loan processing, or a related role in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of credit processes and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
