We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Head of Trade - Africa

Job Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Drive the PET trading expansion to other African countries
  • Research and report partnership opportunities for PET trading in newly identified profitable regions within Africa
  • Liaise with shipping to ensure products are loaded and delivered within the timeline communicated to customers
  • Coordinate raw material sourcing and purchase within the organization
  • Reduce operational costs and ensure steady growth in tonnage.
  • Ensure PET trading activities are within reasonable profit margins
  • Manage and develop relationships with trade partners
  • Source and verify quality and quantity of cold crushed PET at partner locations.
  • Create constant feedback mechanisms for customers on Recyclan’s products from different countries.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

2.) Shipping and Logistics Lead

Job Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the facility or inventory manager to confirm availability of finished product for export
  • Liaise with the facility manager to obtain weight, pictures, and videos of the loading process.
  • Oversee the complete logistics plan to ensure products reach destinations on schedule.
  • Review and minimize transportation costs while maintaining quality throughout the logistics process.
  • Ensure all shipments are in compliance with appropriate laws andregulations.
  • Coordinate with logistic partners to provide container trucks in a timely manner to load and export finished products.
  • Monitor and ensure containers are loaded in timely manner to avoid cost of demurrage
  • Coordinate with logistics and shipping lines to ensure timely gating in of containers/trucks and verify all necessary documents are available.
  • Ensure all shipping/export documents are in place and in sync with material loaded and in adherence to regulations.
  • Manage export bookings, freight rates, and shipping documentation.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, customs, and forwarders to ensure timely sailing of containers.
  • Ensures all arrived shipments are cleared and moved to customer destination in a timely manner to avoid incurring demurrage at the port of destination.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree.

3.) Procurement Lead

Job Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of raw materials (PET) in line with the approved budget and product quality across all regions within Nigeria.
  • Liaise with vendors and truck drivers to ensure raw materials (PET) are delivered within communicated timelines and at right quality
  • Responsible for sourcing of trucks at cheap/affordable prices to load raw materials procured for delivery
  • Liaise with facility or inventory manager to get the weight of the raw materials delivered and report discrepancies to supplier

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO with 0 - 3 years of work experience.

4.) Chief of Staff / Project Manager

Job Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the strategic goals of the organization in line with the managing director/board of directors
  • Share strategic business insights that aids decision making
  • Set and monitor project timelines to ensure efficiency of the process and business
  • Develop, implement and monitor performance metrics to measure and improve team and organizational performance.
  • Provide hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress.
  • Lead, support, and track high-priority initiatives to achieve organization-wide goals.
  • Support the Managing Director in the implementation of strategies for new and ongoing projects.
  • Guide department heads with expert advice on how to achieve strategic goals to enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Ensure organizational adherence and compliance to all regulatory, statutory, state, and federal laws.
  • Review operational risk and recommend areas of improvement
  • Develop and maintain a constant feedback mechanism for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
