Sky Mall is a family-friendly destination for entertainment, leisure and shopping, situated on Lekki-Epe Expressway in the Sangotedo axis of Lagos. It is home to various brands and businesses offering top quality goods and services on a daily basis.


Sky Mall is divided into two sections: the main Shopping mall for shopping and recreation, and the Extension section which offers office spaces. The mall boasts an opulent decor and wide of range of shops, office spaces, warehouses, top-notch restaurants, exclusive VIP lounges, cinemas, and a terrace bar.


We provide easy movements from the ground floor to the top floor of the mall by stationing two elevators and three escalators within the shopping mall. There is also a cargo lift that runs from the ground floor to the third floor at the Extension part of the mall.


We provide our tenants with an official parking lot strictly for business operators in the mall, and also we provide a well-secured car park for customers which can can accommodate more than 300 cars.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Cost Accountant

Job Location: Sangotedo, Eti-Osa - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Results Areas / Accountabilities
Cost Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, including direct labor, direct materials, and overhead expenses.
  • Regularly review and update cost estimates for new and existing products vs expectations.
  • Analyse variances between actual and standard costs, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Regularly review the BOM to ensure accuracy with what is happening on the production floor.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the valuation of inventory and ensure accurate recording in the financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the production team to reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.
  • Observe and review the inventory processing procedures regularly i.e. Receiving, Inter-warehouse transfers, daily production reconciliation, issues to production etc.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports related to manufacturing costs to management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on cost analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing activities.

Month-end Close:

  • Play a key role in the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts related to manufacturing costs.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency within the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to manufacturing costs.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and finance, to gather relevant cost information.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing insights and answering inquiries related to manufacturing costs.

Must have knowledge of:

  • Accounting software and ERP systems (Sage 200 Evolution v9)

2.) Accountant / Account Officer

Job Location: Sangotedo, Eti-Osa - Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the Resturant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and the effective management of financial processes.
  • This role is critical in supporting the business’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations of the Resturant
  • Ensure accurate recording and tracking of financial transactions within the company’s accounting system.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage payroll processing, including statutory deductions and prompt remittance of VAT, PAYE, and Consumption Tax.
  • Handle service charge processing, deductions, and reporting.
  • Conduct month-end inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Supervise and guide Account Assistants in their daily tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Follow up on collections across all payment channels, including POS, bank transfers, cash, and other payment methods, and handle customer refunds as necessary.
  • Manage recipes, menu items, and inventory data within the company’s accounting system to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial transactions and reporting processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable using the company’s accounting system.
  • Perform any other assignments or special projects as assigned by the Group Head of Accounts or the CFO.

Skills, Attributes, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

3.) Quality Control Officer

Job Description

  • A Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications by monitoring, inspecting, and testing production processes and outputs.

Job Brief

  • As a Quality Control Officer, you will assess product or service quality, identify defects or deviations from standards, and implement corrective actions to maintain or improve quality levels. Your role involves performing inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with quality requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of production processes, materials, components, and finished products or services to identify quality issues, defects, or non-conformities.
  • Review specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to understand quality requirements, tolerances, and acceptance criteria for products or services.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using precision tools, equipment, and instruments to verify product dimensions, appearance, and functionality.
  • Collect and analyze quality data, metrics, and performance indicators to evaluate process capabilities, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate records, logs, and inspection reports for traceability and accountability.
  • Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to address quality issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify underlying causes of quality issues, applying techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
  • Monitor adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with ISO, FDA, or industry-specific quality standards.
  • Train and educate production staff on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in product development and validation activities, providing input on design reviews, risk assessments, and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, customers, and regulatory agencies during quality audits, inspections, or certifications, providing documentation and support as needed.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessments and inspections, evaluating supplier performance, capabilities, and adherence to quality standards, and communicating feedback to suppliers.
  • Implement quality assurance tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing principles, to monitor and improve process performance and product quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality management practices, participating in training programs, seminars, and professional development activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, quality management, industrial technology, or a related field; professional certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQM) is a plus with 3-5 years experience.
  • Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, regulations, and requirements applicable to the industry, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and process performance.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections, measurements, and tests, ensuring compliance with quality specifications and acceptance criteria.
