Graystone Solicitors was established in 2006 after a pupilage from the Law firm of Femi Okunnu & Co. The firm is situated at the heart of the Lagos-Island at the Central Business District, it was set up by, Mr. Yemi Adeshina.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Legal Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Legal Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements as related to the company's operations, ensuring compliance with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws - LLB or relevant qualifications
• 5 years of post-call experience .
• Skilled with MS Office.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of legal documents and terminology.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Skills:

• Proven experience in research, analysis, and legal advisory on fundamental business matters
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation as well as dispute resolution,
• Managing compliance with regulatory institutions and supporting business and official engagements
• Good understanding of general and specific company and commercial law in Nigeria
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
