We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Optometrist Intern
Job Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Internship

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary eye examinations under supervision.
• Assist in visual acuity assessments, refraction tests, and ocular health screenings.
• Support the Optometrist in managing patients with refractive errors and minor eye conditions.
• Educate patients on eye care, contact lens use, and preventive practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with hospital standards.
• Assist with administrative and clinical duties within the Eye Clinic.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or OD degree in Optometry
• Temporary or full registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board (ODORBN) is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient-centered approach.
