Job Overview

• Our client, a fast-growing fintech company committed to delivering innovative digital financial solutions, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Loan Recovery Officer to support effective credit management and loan repayment performance.
• This role is responsible for managing loan recovery activities, engaging customers on repayment obligations, and implementing recovery strategies that minimize default risk while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with clients on due and overdue loan repayments through calls, messages, and physical visits where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of loan accounts, payment schedules, and collection activities.
• Negotiate repayment plans with customers in line with company policies.
• Ensure timely recovery of loans while maintaining professional and respectful customer relations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Identify high-risk accounts and escalate issues to management when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical collection practices.
• Collaborate with the credit and finance teams to resolve repayment issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in loan collection, credit control, or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet collection targets.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Salary Range
N80,000 – N100,000 per month.
