Light Foundation Center for Peaceful Coexistence and Development (LiFon) is a passionate, community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to persons forcefully displaced by natural or man-made disasters, particularly women and children.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Assistant (Volunteer)

Job Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Role Purpose

• The Logistics Assistant will support procurement, transportation, and asset management processes to ensure efficient operations and program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement planning and vendor management.
• Track and record inventory, office supplies, and project materials.
• Arrange logistics for staff travel, trainings, and community events.
• Maintain records of goods received and distributed.
• Support compliance with LiFon’s procurement and asset policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Basic understanding of logistics and procurement procedures.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in NGO or humanitarian logistics is an added advantage.
