Job Summary


  • We require the services of a dynamic and competent Managing Director to drive its strategic vision and oversee business performance.
  • The Managing Director will provide leadership and strategic direction to the organisation, spearheading the design and execution of multi-year business plans to ensure superior performance.
  • Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role incumbent will drive strategic initiatives, foster key stakeholder relationships, and oversee operational excellence, ensuring compliance and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan, working with the Management Team to drive superior business performance.
  • Provide direction in the design and implementation of a framework for effective stakeholder engagement, including strategic alliances with partners, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
  • Direct market engagement activities to enhance the company’s visibility and provide insights on economic, political, and industry trends for informed decision-making.
  • Advise the Board on commercial activities, emerging market trends, and strategic business ventures.
  • Champion innovation, collaboration, and a zero-tolerance policy for regulatory infractions, ensuring efficient management of financial and non-financial resources.
  • Lead the implementation of a robust people strategy that will drive high employee engagement levels and foster a positive work culture.

Role Requirements

  • Master's Degree / MBA in Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of post-graduation experience, with at least 10 years in the financial services industry and 6 years in a Top/Executive Management role, preferably in investment banking.
  • Sound strategic thinking abilities and business acumen.
  • High level of credibility, ethical standards and integrity.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills with a track record of achieving expected business results.
