Job Position: Marketer / Sales Officer

Job Locations: Egbeda and Iyana Ipaja Area, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• The RMs responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain monthly sales targets
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
• Participate on behalf of the company in market exhibitions
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
• Manage and grow existing relationships effectively
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their business needs and concerns
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum of OND
• Minimum of 2 years of Sales / Marketing (Microfinance) experience. 
• Proven experience in Sales/Marketing in the Micro-Finance Banking sector
• Proven experience in cash collection, savings mobilisation and retail/group
• Loans management in the informal markets sector
• Proficiency in English and must reside in Egbeda (compulsory)
• A good understanding of Lagos markets’ dynamics
• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
• Fast learner and passion for sales
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Skills: 

• Experienced and success-driven Relationship Manager (RM) with proven experience in the management of retail and group loans in the informal markets sector.
