Job Position: Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical equipment within our agro-processing and industrial facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure efficient plant operations, minimize downtime, and support continuous production improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and production machinery
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective actions promptly
• Ensure optimal performance of processing, drying, and conveying systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Work closely with production and management teams to improve efficiency
• Train technicians and operators on proper equipment handling

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or factory setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and meet production timelines
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Preferably Male

Added Advantage:

• Experience in agro-processing or food/feed manufacturing plants
• Knowledge of dryers, boilers, conveyors, and processing equipment
• Certification in industrial maintenance or safety-related courses.
