Job Description:

NEFAID is looking for a Video Editor/Motion Designer with strong design to drive clean, engaging, branded communications. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Adobe After Effects and color correction/grading tools to become the finishing filter for all marketing videos produced by the video production team.
The video editor and motion designer will bring our marketing videos to the next level by collaborating with video producers, 3D animator, and graphic designers to strengthen our brand with a cohesive look and feel.

Video Editor/Motion Designer

Responsibilities:

• Lead video creative projects through finishing stages of postproduction, including color grading.
• Design and execute brand-appropriate motion graphics treatments.
• Edit short film, advertising, and documentary style videos.
• Contribute to preproduction through creative conception and storyboarding.
• Provide high quality 3D motion-graphics production.
• Work closely with 3D animator for asset creation.
• Encode, export, and manage final compositions, digital assets, and project archives.
• Art direct, conceptualize, and design graphic treatments.
• Provide video production and photography assistance if needed.

Qualifications:

• An online/offline reel and portfolio of work demonstrating strong visual design skills, storytelling, and advertising experience across a range of brands or industries
• Minimum of two years professional experience as a motion designer and editor preferably within an ad agency or in-house corporate marketing division
• A proficient visual and typographic aesthetic
• Expert-level user of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus on After Effects (including working with 3D objects), Premiere pro, Audition, and Photoshop
• Technical knowledge of edit systems, codecs, and video encoding
• Experience with digital cinema production including RED workflows
• Strong project management skills
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to NEFAID.
• Negative drug test result(s)
