Job Position: Operations Manager
Job Location: Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Job Overview

• We are seeking to employ an experienced professional with strong leadership skills and a solid business foundation to work as an Operations Manager.
• Who will be at the heart of ensuring smooth daily operations, working closely with our internal auditor to maintain accountability for every sale and stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day retail and wholesale operations, ensuring efficiency and accountability across all departments.
• Collaborate with the internal auditor to ensure all sales are fully documented and accounted for, minimizing losses and ensuring transparency.
• Lead, train, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service and a productive work environment.
• Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely reordering of products to avoid stockouts.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, create sales strategies, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all retail activities comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate better terms when necessary.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, providing insights on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and appealing store environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a retail or wholesale management role, preferably in fashion, beauty, or hair-related industries.
• Proven track record of successful team leadership and sales management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work well with internal auditors to ensure transparency and accountability in all sales and inventory activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
