Job Position: Plumbing Design Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Preferred candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Prepare Plumbing Designs
• Planning of Mechanical Works ( Plumbing and HVAC).
• Design and drafting of plumbing systems for different buildings and facilities - work closely with clients to develop designs, perform design calculations and choosing the appropriate equipment and systems for installation.
• Prepare marketing materials - prepare the schematics and materials required to present their proposal to their clients.
• Draft technical documentation - From drawing projects to amending designs, the successful candidate must be able todraft the technical documentation associated with each project.
• Perform quality assurance review - Plumbing engineers are also responsible for carrying out quality assurance reviews on projects, which involves evaluating all of technical drawings.
• Oversee project staff - Plumbing engineers oversee junior engineering staff and provide training for them when required to ensure that each project is completed to the appropriate standard.

Requirements

• Ideal candidate must have a minimum HND / B.Eng in Civil / Mechanical Engineering. Added certification would be an advantage.
• 4-5 years work experience.
