We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Manager

Job Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities

• Developing procurement strategies that are cost-effective.
• Sourcing, engaging, building and maintaining long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
• Overseeing and managing the inventory of goods to serve the hotel and other businesses.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
• Reviewing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Job Objective / Purpose of Job

• Responsible for overseeing expediting the receiving, warehousing, distribution operations, security and maintenance of the facility and ensuring efficient, organized storage.
• Manages the company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain, strategizes and negotiates with suppliers and vendors to get the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses.

Reporting Relationships:

• Functionally Reports To: Managing Director
• Administratively Reports To: Operations Manager
• Supervises: Sales Manager, Procurement Officer, Account Officer.

Working Relationships:

• Internal All staff
• External: Vendors, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
