Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing and Supply Manager to oversee our procurement activities and manage the supply chain processes.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of quality goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and conditions.

Supply Chain Management:

• Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Vendor Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and contract terms.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective spending and resource allocation.
• Monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to management.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in [industry].
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
